Typically, all metal-wrapped awnings are acrylic (not vinyl). Acrylic fabrics hold color much better than vinyl and are very durable and easy to maintain. Unlike vinyl, acrylic awning fabric "breathes", so moisture runs through it making it noticeably cooler under the awning. Torn acrylic awnings can not be repaired.
Because vinyl fabrics don't "breath," it is usually hotter under a vinyl awning. Vinyl awnings also have a tendency to attract mildew. Carefree uses a stronger vinyl fabric than their competition and is less expensive. Torn vinyl awnings can be repaired.

Order FAQs
There are two ways to order. You may order your sun and shade control product online. Or you may call our customer service department at 800-328-5100 to place an order. If you are an international customer, you may only place your order by phone. Call us 619-660-7400 so that we may assist you.
We accept all major credit cards and PayPal for web orders. For installations we accept all major credit cards, personal checks, and cash.
Once you complete your transaction, ShadePro will process the order and you will receive confirmation along with an invoice for the product you've purchased. Please allow 24 hours for us to process your order.
ShadePro Provides absolutely free shipping for orders over $100 to any destination within the continental United States. Products shipping by freight truck are $199 per item when applicable. Upcharges may occur depending on the ship-to address. Freight shipping to commercial addresses only or for dock pickup at your local terminal. A $129 residential fee will be added to all freight orders destined for residential delivery. If your order is less than $100 and doesn't require freight, UPS shipping rates apply.
If you created an account when you placed your order, simply log into your account that you registered prior or during the checkout process to see the most current status of your order. If you placed an order as a guest, without an account, you will not be able to see any information pertaining to your order. No need to worry, we will provide tracking information via email for all shipments within 24 hours of shipment.
We apologize if this is the case. Please note that it is your responsibility to inspect the shipment and shipping containers for damage on all merchandise received and note damage on the delivery receipt.
