Pull Down Your Window Awning with Ease

Has the pull strap for your RV window awning snapped? Replace it with the INNOVA Universal Pull Strap that will fit any window awning.

The INNOVA Universal Pull Strap is made from durable nylon and includes a rubber loop end, making it easy to use with your awning wand. Slide the strap into the window awning’s roller bar channel and leave it there. This will allow for you to easily roll your awning out and retract it every time.

Available in eight sizes: 27″, 28″, 29″, 30″, 31″, 32″, 36″, and 44″

NOTE BEFORE ORDERING: Make sure the pull strap being ordered is the same size as the strap being replaced.

Directions for Installing on A&E Window Awnings:

Roll the window awning out to its full extension. While holding the roller tube with one hand, slide the old strap to either side of the roller tube and remove it from the roller. Insert the new strap.

Directions for Installing on Carefree Window Awnings:

Method 1:Roll the awning out to its full extension. Have a helper hold the strap while keeping the awning fully extended. Using a 3/16″ drill bit, drill out the 2 pop rivets holding the end cap to the roller, then pull the cap away. Have a helper keep the awning extended by holding the roller as you slide the old strap out. Insert the new strap and attach the cap using the 3/16″ rivets provided.

Method 2:Roll the awning out to its full extension. Have a helper hold the strap, keeping the awning fully extended. Using a 1/4″ drill bit, widen the pull strap slot in the roller about 2″ long. This should be done about 6″ inside from the canopy edge. Have a helper keep the awning extended by holding the roller as you slide the old strap over the elongated slot to remove it. Insert the new strap.

NOTE: If replacing straps on the Carefree Omega, note the size of the straps you’re removing and their order to ensure when installing the new straps that they are in the correct order.
