CURT Ram Puck System 5th Wheel Roller Adapter 24K

Equip a compatible Ram short-bed truck for a CURT sliding 5th wheel hitch with the CURT 16022 Puck System 5th Wheel Roller Adapter. Designed for select Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with a 6.5-foot bed and factory 5th wheel puck system, this heavy-duty adapter provides a secure mounting platform for compatible CURT 5th wheel rollers.

The 16022 installs directly into the Ram factory puck system using four quarter-turn anchors, eliminating the need for permanent above-bed base rails. Once properly adjusted, the anchors help create a secure fit while reducing unwanted movement and chucking between the adapter and the truck’s under-bed mounting system.

With a 24,000-lb. gross trailer weight capacity, the adapter is built for demanding 5th wheel towing applications. CURT designed it to accept its 5th wheel roller assemblies, allowing the hitch coupling point to move rearward when needed to provide additional cab-to-trailer clearance when maneuvering a short-bed truck. The roller and hitch head are sold separately.

CURT’s installation instructions specifically list compatibility with roller models 16550, 16560 and 16570. The roller mounts to the adapter and is secured using the supplied hitch pins and clips.

The adapter is tested in accordance with SAE J2638 and protected with CURT’s durable carbide black powder-coat finish to help resist scratches, rust and corrosion.
