Bring up to four bicycles along on your next adventure with the Stromberg Carlson BC-204 4-Bike Platform Mount Bike Rack. Designed for a standard 2-inch hitch receiver, this heavy-duty platform-style carrier provides a stable and convenient way to transport multiple bicycles with a combined weight capacity of up to 160 lbs.
Unlike traditional hanging-style bike racks, the BC-204 supports bicycles at the wheels using adjustable wheel mounts. The cradles can be repositioned to accommodate a variety of bicycle sizes and frame configurations, making it a versatile choice for families and recreational riders traveling with different bikes.
The standard wheel cradles accommodate bicycle tires up to 2-1/2 inches wide. For bicycles with wider tires, the rack can be used with the optional Stromberg Carlson BC-2FT Fat Tire Adapter, sold separately.
A convenient tilting vertical post allows the center post to tilt down for improved access to the rear of the vehicle. Heavy-duty steel construction provides the strength needed to support four bicycles while traveling.
Important application note: Stromberg Carlson specifically states that the BC-204 is not approved for bumper or hitch use behind a fifth wheel or travel trailer. The manufacturer also states that it has not been tested or approved for e-bikes.
