The Vista Shade for Electric Awnings comes in two pieces: a 6 ft. Body and an Insert.

Example: If you order a Vista Shade with a 10 ft. drop, that means the body will be 6 ft. and the insert will be 4 ft. This allows for you to reach the zipper without needing a ladder. The insert is slid into the awning roller and rolls up with the awning. When you want to set up the Vista Shade, simply zip the body into the insert. Patent Pending

Received my Vista Shade a few days ago. Installed in less than an hour and the short 2′ section rolls up flawlessly with the electric awing. The shade is a great sun blocker, really happy I have this awning shade.

Very happy, great product, very easy install. I’m not sure why some reviews say they are not the proper length, if you follow the very easy ordering instructions they fit perfect. Do not assume you know your awning size, measure it and order accordingly. We have two awnings on our 42’ fifth wheel, I followed the order instructions and they fit as stated. Very good quality, fast shipping, very happy with ours. Thanks

I had a smaller one from previous motorhome, need a longer one for my recent motorhome. I called and discussed with this company. I could order online, so I did, per their instructions.
The shade does not come as advertised or as you see in the picture, or do they tell you the tail size, which shows a 2’drop to the zipper. I ordered the black 19′ wide x 6’drop, so I can reach the zipper without a ladder. . So, I assumed the total height would be 6′ (2’drop + 4′ shade=6′).
Their answer when I called them after receiving it was “don’t order from the picture”? WTH?! i ordered from their order form and picture.
Seems like false advertisement to me………….Now they want me to pay shipping both ways………..

  My sincerest of apologies for the interaction by phone, that is not how we run our business. Just a brief explanation on the vista shade for electric awnings, the body portion that you can remove by zipper is always 6′, any additional drop is added to the top (insert) portion. For you to get the 2′ insert you’d have to get the 8′ overall drop. This is explained in the product description on our website, our order form that you can download also specifically states where the zipper is placed based on drop. I’ll reach out to you directly with an amicable resolution.

I first purchased a one piece shade from another company and had a heck of a time getting it installed. Then I thought this will not work if I had to take it down fast due to a pending storm. I retuned that one and got a Vista Shade. Wow, what a difference! The 2ft piece installed in about 10min! On our first trip with the shade, all of a sudden the wind came up. With the Vista Shade I had the screen unzipped and the awning retracted in about 3 min.! I am sold on this! Well worth having. Convenience, Quality, and Value all ‘rolled’ up in one!
