Rancho California

Find your bliss at the Aguanga park affectionately known as “The Ranch.” Located in Aguanga, the gated RV park has large sites designed to accommodate Class A Motor Coaches, Fifth-Wheels, and Super C Coaches. Golfers will enjoy The Ranch’s club, which hosts weekly golf tournaments. Bring your four legged friends to the extra large dog park to socialize with other guests or take your pooch for a hike in the hills nearby.

Golden Village Palms

The Hemet park is the largest RV resort in California, with over 700 sites for campers to choose from. Each site includes full hookups, but luxury options will put you closer to prime resort amenities, like the park’s three outdoor pools and wellness center. There’s truly something for everyone at Golden Village Palms; from the sports lover to the car enthusiast. Pickleball tournaments, water aerobics, and auto shows are regularly held here.

Reflection Lake

Love fishing? Reflection Lake in San Jacinto is the place to be. Anglers will go crazy for the fully-stocked lake, along with the campground’s monthly fishing competitions. If fishing isn’t your thing, you’re still bound to have a blast at Reflection Lake. There’s a large swimming pool and basketball, wallball, and tetherball courts, plus picnic areas and barbecue facilities. And no worries for those working from the road: free Wi-Fi is available to guests.

Palm Springs Oasis 

This Palm Springs park is for those over 55, and has plenty of entertainment for active older adults. Water aerobics, art classes, line dancing, and bingo are just a few of the offerings at the Oasis. Head on over to their sister property, Date Palm Country Club, for a round of golf or lunch at AJ’s On the Green. Full hookups are available at each of the resort’s 140 sites.

Lake Elsinore Marina

Scenic Lake Elsinore has so much to offer RV travelers. Beautiful views are guaranteed at the park, where lake sports and fishing are popular. Full hookups are offered, but lakefront campers will have to boondock. There’s a convenience store for last minute grocery needs and plenty of barbecues for grilling up a tasty dinner. Fire pits are available to rent for those wanting to end their busy day around a cozy campfire.

Silent Valley Club

If recreation is a priority, put Silent Valley Club at the top of your list. The Banning RV park boasts a pool and spa, TV lounge, restaurant, basketball and mini golf courts, and even live music and karaoke on the weekends. Additionally, you can probably score a spot at Silent Valley at the last minute: the club has 850 sites available on 460 acres of wilderness.

Launch Pointe

The Lake Elsinore park offers visitors a variety of unique and exciting stays. If you’re bringing your own rig, there are over 180 spaces available within 7 themed areas. Each space features full hookups, water, sewer, and concrete patio pads, as well as a privacy fence and patio table. Themed areas are catered towards families and include Aquaplane Lane, with its own splash pad, and Canopy Court, which has a large outdoor playground. RV enthusiasts will surely appreciate Launch Pointe’s collection of 9 vintage trailers as well.

Wilderness Lakes

Wilderness Lakes in Menifee is a large and spacious choice for travelers who want to spread out. Over 500 RV sites, a clubhouse, restaurant, and plenty of recreation activities offer visitors a chance to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Check out one of the fishing canals that winds through the park, take a dip in the lake, or play a round of mini golf with your family. If you plan on staying long-term, there are convenient delivery lockers available to ensure your packages are secure. * Update: The restaurant is now closed. There are 2 pools to swim in, rather than the lakes. Membership required.

Rancho Jarupa Regional Park  

Located near downtown Riverside, Rancho Jarupa is an award-winning regional park that features two camping areas: Lakeview and Cottonwood. Full hookups are available at 70 of their 131 sites. The park has plenty of recreational opportunities for visitors, including disc golf and mini golf courses, 2 fishing lakes, a splash pad, and a rock climbing playground.
